Shelter Island Birthday

Birthdays are a time for celebration. And every child loves that oh so wonderful part of their birthday party – presents! On June 23, 2012 however, some very special children wanted to do something a little bit differently with their presents. At their birthday party hosted by their mother Pom Shillingford, in lieu of gifts, all the guests were asked to make a donation to the LilySarahGraceFund instead. Then, after some delicious food and fun, the over eighty children that were present worked together to create a beautiful banner in memory of Lily, Sarah, and Grace Badger. The sight of these kids and their selfless generosity really touched us. We are sure you’ll feel the same!
