Now Hiring – Instructional Programs Coach (Charlotte, NC)

LilySarahGrace is excited to announce the opening of two instructional programs coaching positions.

The Instructional Programs Coach will be a LilySarahGrace (LSG) programs team member who supports the roll-out and implementation of Arts-Infused, Inquiry-Based Learning (AIIBL) units of study, and other related practices. This work will take place in schools, districts, and organizations in Charlotte, NC; with some work in the surrounding districts and region.  

As an LSG team member you will enjoy flexible thinking and a work environment rooted in a passion for creativity and the arts. Your day-to-day work in multiple settings and schools will allow you to apply your experience with integrated inquiry across grade levels. Your outstanding public speaking and facilitation skills, discipline and self motivation, as well as desire to work with a variety of teammates and partners will help you excel in this role. Lastly, you will experience growth through your love of innovative brainstorming and collaboration, as you reflect upon your practice, challenge yourself, and continue to impact education with LilySarahGrace.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and facilitate workshops, multi-day seminars, PLCs, and planning meetings aligned with LSG instructional philosophy
  • Support the ongoing design and implementation of Arts-Infused, Inquiry-Based Learning units of study, educational materials and related products
  • Serve as a liaison between LSG, clients, and other partners – including, but not limited to, schools, universities, other non-profits, and educational organizations.
  • Model, co-teach, and coach clients in engaging, progressive instructional practices
  • Collaborate with the LSG Programs Team under the supervision of the Executive Director of Programs to further the mission and vision of the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education
  • Minimum 4 years experience in the classroom
  • Lead teacher, department chair, curriculum facilitator, or similar experience
  • Progressive, inquiry-based instructional practices
  • Integrated curriculum development experience


  • Experience coaching groups of teachers
  • Experience with teaching across multiple grade levels
  • Experience with diverse student populations
  • Experience collaborating with local community organizations
  • Experience with creating engaging instructional practices for all students
  • Experience with initiating a new program or redesigning an existing program within a school
  • Experience and/or appreciation for the arts


This is a full-time, year-round position and includes vacation time and health benefits.

Primary responsibilities will take place in the Charlotte, NC area but may include schools across the state and occasionally cross state lines.

Additionally, travel to professional development and workshop sessions may include national travel, less than 25% of the time.
